Dr. Silverman watches the Fourth Grade perform “Pinata.”

There’s nothing like relaxing to a little holiday music.

Holiday Program a Huge Hit
Fall Creek Academy’s Holiday Program Had Something for Everyone

December 23, 2008

‘Twas the last day of school before holiday break, and all ears were poised for the music we’d make….

A cast of thousands, it seemed, performed many traditional holiday favorites, some international music, and a warped version of the “Twelve Days of Christmas” to a packed house at Fall Creek Academy. Parents, grandparents, and younger siblings enjoyed musical samplings from each grade and each music group. The selections included “Rudolph, the Red-Nosed Reindeer,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Pinata,” and much more.

The teaching staff sprung a small surprise on Dr. Silverman, breaking out into a rousing chorus of the “Twelve Days of Dr. Silverman.” Verses included “5 Dress Code Checks,” “8 Cups of Coffee” and “4 Hey Theres.” The students, faculty, and Dr. Silverman enjoyed seeing the teachers perform.

In addition to music, the audience was treated to some home-grown theater. The Difference Club performed “The Seven Days of Kwanzaa,” an original play written by our own Brandon Meriweather. Even the younger students paid attention to the script describing the holiday.
