September 25, 2008
Coach Jessi Schafer’s Lady Engineers and Coach Mike Elliott’s Engineers Cross Country teams swept top honors at the 2008 Crispus Attucks Invitational Tuesday, September 23. The course took the runners along the banks of the White River under spectacular blue skies, warm weather, and relatively low humidity. The event marks the first wins for both the Boys’ and Girls’ Cross Country teams.
Approximately 36 runners competed in the invitational from FCA, Crispus Attucks, and International.
Our DeAsia Perry placed 3rd; Brianna Fisher, 5th; and several Lady Engineers placed 7th through 10th. For the boys, Eric Davis finished 3rd; Jamal Abdulrasheed, 6th; and Jermaine McClendon, 9th.
Congratulations. Go Engineers!
