I cannot thank you enough for value that the student white boards and markers have added to my classroom instruction and interaction. The white boards have been used extensively since I have received them, especially in my middle school classrooms. The students love being able to show that they know how to do problems in class and the boards allow me to check for understanding quickly and efficiently throughout the lesson.

The white boards will be used in my classroom for years to come. I am so appreciative that you all were willing to provide the funds necessary for me to use this exceptional educational tool in my classroom. Dear GEO Foundation,

Wow! What a fantastic collection of math manipulatives that you have affordedmy students the opportunity to have in their classroom. I am already planning numerous lesson plans for next semester that incorporate the manipulatives for middle school and high school courses.

The lessons that I am most excited about are the ones on fractions, decimals, and percentages. The project that you helped fund included an entire kit exclusively dedicated to hands-on manipulatives for fractions, decimals, and percentages. This is an area of math that students historically struggle with and I know that the new manipulatives will help my students convert from one to the next to the next.

I am so appreciative for your willingness to support my classroom. Little by little I am accumulating the classroom materials necessary to provide my students with enriching and challenging lessons on a daily basis.

Please keep my students in your thoughts and prayers as we prepare to begin the second semester next month. The achievement gap in our country is large, but with the ongoing support of generous donors like all of you, I know we can make a significant difference with our neediest students.
