Leaping to the future
January 22, 2010
Ms. Brinkman is one of two special education teachers at Fall Creek Acadmey. These students all have the goal of college, and work very hard to learn the Core 40 curriculum with their various disabilities.
But, her students need innovative materials that will support them in the classroom, and that will prepare them for college. The Crammer is exactly what will hold the interest of high school students, while being an invaluable aid to them at the same time. The Didj will provide additional langauge support.
"Both electronic systems will support my students in the general education classroom, and help them be successful," said Ms. Brinkman. "The items will help them when they struggle with various concepts and subjects."
Ms. Brinkman turned to Donors Choose to raise the funds to bring these innovative tools to her students.
"The Crammers and Didj will be an invaluable resource to my students as they work hard to succeed!" said Ms. Brinkman. "The support we received has made it possible for my students to prepare for college, and their future."
