Creating a comfortable environment for learning

Ms. Lawson, an FSA resource teacher for students with disabilities, wanted to provide her students with a comfortable, inviting, reading corner that students could use to read or quietly study.

Additionally, she wanted to modify her classroom to provide a space for students to put their belongings when they came to the Resource Room in order to help them stay organized.

Through Donors Choose, Ms. Lawson's students now have a couch, chair and tables for the reading study corner and a set of wall lockers for the students' personal belongings.
